March 18, 2025, is the 25th “National Liver Care Day” in my country. As a public welfare publicity day for liver care, this year’s publicity theme is “Combining Chinese and Western Medicine to Reverse Cirrhosis”, advocating the treatment of liver disease through the combination of Chinese and Western medicine, deepening the whole society’s understanding of liver health, and reducing the incidence and mortality of the chronic liver disease. According to the latest data from the “Report on the Nutrition and Chronic Disease Status of Chinese Residents (2020)” released by the National Health Commission, the overweight and obesity rate of adult residents in China has exceeded 50%, and the proportion of obese people continues to rise. [1] Obesity is an important cause of liver disease. The continued rise in the proportion of this population also means that people are at an increasing risk of chronic liver disease.
The 2024 National Cancer Report points out that the top five malignant tumors in terms of mortality are lung cancer, liver cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, and esophageal cancer, with liver cancer ranking second. [2] This situation not only poses a threat to personal health, but also brings a heavy burden to society, and urgently needs to attract widespread attention.
To actively respond to the “Healthy China 2030” Plan and the three-year action plan of “Weight Management Year”, Eieling Technology, in cooperation with medical institutions, community organizations, and partners, organized a series of liver screening services and health science consultation activities across the country around the National Liver Care Day, aiming to enhance the public’s awareness of liver care, popularize healthy lifestyles, strengthen chronic disease prevention and treatment, and jointly build the first line of defense for liver disease prevention and treatment.
Free clinic at Fangshan Community Health Service Center, Chunhua Street, Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu
From March 12 to 13, 2025, Eieling Technology came to Nanjing, Jiangsu, to provide free liver screening services for employees of Fangshan Community Health Service Center, Chunhua Street, Jiangning District, to help employees understand their own liver health status and promptly identify potential risks and high-risk groups. Liverscan’s efficient and fast detection speed meets the needs of high-frequency screening in the community.
After the test, the Eieling Technology team patiently interpreted the screening results and provided health advice based on individual conditions to help achieve the goal of early detection, early intervention, and early treatment of liver disease. Jiangsu·Nanjing Shimenkan Community Hospital Health Consultation Activities
On March 17, 2025, Shimenkan Community Hospital in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province organized a health consultation event. Experts from the infectious diseases department, nutrition department, and traditional Chinese medicine department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital came to the scene. Senior physicians from many medical consortium units such as Nanjing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Nanjing Red Cross Hospital, Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital and Nanjing Chest Hospital participated.

Zhejiang Ninghai Ninghai Marathon Liver Screening Event
On March 16, the 2025 Ninghai Marathon, hosted by the Ninghai County People’s Government and the Zhejiang Marathon and Road Running Association, was successfully held. Eieling Technology extended the application scenarios of its flagship product Liverscan to the post-marathon service area, providing a special post-race service for the contestants – liver health screening, demonstrating Eieling Technology’s sense of social responsibility. At the Ninghai International Convention and Exhibition Center, the contestants experienced liver testing after finishing the race. The Liverscan non-invasive quantitative shear wave ultrasound liver measurement instrument independently developed by Eieling Technology can quickly and accurately assess the liver hardness and acoustic attenuation parameters of each contestant in one minute, and the test report can be obtained on site. On March 18, 2025, Eieling Technology and Sichuan Suining Central Hospital held a free clinic. At the event, the Eieling Technology team used professional testing equipment Liverscan to conduct a comprehensive and accurate assessment of the liver health of the participants.
