
World Hepatitis Day
July 28, 2025, marks the 15th World Hepatitis Day, with the theme “Social Co-governance to Eliminate Hepatitis.” In response to the national “Weight Management Year” three-year action plan, the China Medical and Health Culture Association, initiating a joint initiative by Opella’s professional liver protection brand, Essentiale®, Yifeng Pharmacy, and Eieling Technology, launched the “Liver Energy Repair Station” public welfare flash mob event, a nationwide liver health campaign. Under the theme “Little Liver, Big Health,” the event provided convenient hepatitis testing services to residents of six major communities in Shanghai through free public liver screenings, interactive science education sessions, and free clinics and consultations. The event also promoted awareness of hepatitis prevention and treatment, raising public awareness of the disease.


July 28,Xuhui Riverside Maritime Tower Plaza
The first screening event, held at the Xuhui Riverside Maritime Tower Plaza, attracted a large number of residents to participate and experience the Liverscan® non-invasive, rapid, and accurate fatty liver and liver fibrosis test provided by Eieling Technology. Gu Erli, Chief Physician of the Jing’an District Central Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, was present to provide professional one-on-one report interpretations for each participant, offering personalized treatment recommendations and health guidance.
An interactive game area was also set up on-site to help residents intuitively understand the progression of liver disease through entertaining and educational means, effectively reinforcing the prevention and control concept of “early screening, early diagnosis, and early treatment.” Through the use of liver testing vehicles and interactive games, the event brought hepatitis education closer to everyday life, effectively mobilizing the public to participate in hepatitis prevention and control.






July 31,Street Garden, Laoximen Street, Huangpu District
On July 31st, a liver testing vehicle arrived at the street garden in Laoximen Subdistrict. Dr. Zhang Ruiqi, Chief Physician of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, provided health consultations to community residents, offering personalized treatment recommendations for those with abnormal test results. He also provided detailed answers to common questions about hepatitis prevention, dietary nutrition, and more.

On August 1st, a liver health testing vehicle equipped with the Liverscan® arrived at the Nandan East Road Community Cultural Activity Center in Xuhui District. Dr. Gao Hong, Chief Physician of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, provided report interpretation and health guidance to residents. She also explained the dangers of hepatitis and preventive measures, raising public awareness of hepatitis and health management.

On August 1st, a liver health testing vehicle arrived at the Nuanxin Station in Jing’an District. Dr. Shao Lingyun, Chief Physician of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, explained the transmission routes, preventive measures, and standardized treatment of hepatitis, patiently answering questions from the audience. August 8, Green Lake Paradise, Huaihai Road, Huangpu District
On the morning of August 8th, a liver health testing vehicle arrived at the Cuihu Tiandi community on Huaihai Road. Dr. Zhang Ruiqi, chief physician at Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, provided professional health consultations based on the quantitative data of liver fibrosis and fatty liver disease from liver test reports. Dr. Zhang provided professional advice to each patient and emphasized the importance of regular liver examinations for detecting early-stage lesions. This effectively raised awareness and awareness of viral hepatitis prevention and control among high-risk individuals.







August 8, Wanbang City Garden, Baiyang Road, Pudong New Area

On the afternoon of August 8th, residents at Wanbang City Garden flocked to the facility for testing. Operators simply connected the Liverscan® probe to a tablet to quickly activate the device. Using real-time two-dimensional ultrasound guidance, the device precisely avoided non-liver tissue, such as ribs and blood vessels, achieving efficient liver testing. Wang Yuqin, chief physician at Xinhua Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, provided on-site guidance on hepatitis precautions and emphasized the importance of healthy lifestyle habits. Through efficient liver testing and engaging interactions, the event effectively raised awareness of disease prevention and control, as well as health management skills, among community residents, particularly those at high risk of hepatitis.






This publicity campaign effectively raised residents’ awareness of disease prevention and control, reinforcing the health philosophy of “early prevention, early screening, and early treatment.” Going forward, Yiling will continue collaborating with various stakeholders to deepen core technology research and development, innovate community health service models, accelerate the achievement of the public health goal of “eliminating viral hepatitis,” and contribute to the health of all people.
