Chronic liver disease.

A systematic review of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in Greater China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong) showed that the incidence of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is approximately 2.4% to 6.1%. The future trend of NAFLD is not optimistic, and cost-effective equipment is urgently needed to penetrate into the grassroots for early and mid-stage screening of the disease.

Non-invasive transient elastography ultrasound examination equipment is the best choice.

Understanding Transient Elastography

Transient elastography (TE) technology: It is fast and non-invasive, and can detect advanced fibrosis and early cirrhosis in a timely manner. As an important non-invasive diagnostic technology for liver fibrosis, TE can quantify the liver stiffness value and thus determine the state of liver fibrosis.

Core Principles

  • Emit shear waves through physical vibrations
  • Non-invasive ultrasound tracking of shear waves
  •  Intelligent algorithm calculates hardness value and provides quantitative data

Hepatic fatty degeneration

Due to the high prevalence of steatosis in the general population, liver biopsy is not feasible. In addition to the associated costs and risks, liver biopsy is subject to sampling errors, and the histological assessment of steatosis is qualitative with considerable interobserver variability, which makes it less suitable for diagnosis and longitudinal follow-up. Given these shortcomings, accurate, reproducible, and noninvasive methods to assess steatosis are urgently needed.

Core Principles

  • Utilize the attenuation characteristics of ultrasound
  • Acquisition of ultrasound beam attenuation in the liver parenchyma in the target area
  • Intelligent algorithm calculates fat content to quantify the degree of fatty liver

Liver ultrasound transient elastography

Non-invasive and painless
Quick and easy

Ultrasonic principle, no need for blood sampling, completely non-invasive. The examination process is simple and fast, greatly shortening the time and improving medical efficiency.

Mature Popular
International

After a long period of development, optimization, and verification, this technology has been proven to be reliable, stable, and efficient, and is a universal report for diagnosis.

Comprehensive and accurate
Quantitative and intuitive

One test can give quantitative results of fatty liver and fibrosis at the same time, allowing doctors to understand the patient’s condition more intuitively.

Safe and reliable
Quantitative tracking

The test results are quantitative and objective, highly safe, and can be measured repeatedly, making it convenient for doctors to continuously monitor the condition.
